i had this dream last night:

i was in santa monica but it wasn't santa monica (but my dream told me it was so i believed it) in a big house with lots of open space and windows on top of a big green hill. it was a modern home with huge windows and dark wood walls and floors. next to our big green hill was a downtown cityscape on par with san francisco. silvio and i and my sisters, kaly and hani were all sleeping in the house when we got a knock on the door. we got up and it was all our new york neighbors waiting outside telling us they were ready for our meeting. none of us knew what the meeting was about. we wearily got up and i said i had to take a bath as everybody gathered in the livingroom (including our new york co-op board of directors). my aunts, lori and sharon were in the livingroom gathering about 40-50 people around. i went to the bathroom which had windows opening into the livingroom and as i sat naked in the tub i watched what was going on in the meeting. i got out of my bath to join the meeting. everyone was eating at this point and there was lots of food and casual conversation.
we decided to go outside. everyone looked up in the sky because it was a magnificent blue and i saw all these beautiful little angel wings made of clouds in the sky. the angel wings were all clustered together. i kept saying they were so beautiful and i'd never seen anything like it before. then a huge double rainbow appeared. a big ginormous one that spanned the whole sky. then there was a little little little rainbow in the center of the big one. i took hani's new digital camera and tried to take a picture of it. i fumbled because i couldn't get the rainbows in the camera view. then as we were all outside staring at the cloud-wings and rainbows the sky turned to night and missles started to fly. we looked to our left at the city and watched a huge airplane pass by us at ground level. scared but excited, we ooo'd and ahhh'd and then we saw the great big skyscraper crumble the exact same way as the trade towers. everyone panic'd and screamed and started running. the background became a videogame screen and the buildings appeared to be pixelated the way videogame buildings looked in first generation games. when we saw the building collapse everyone was shocked and screaming but then we convinced ourselves that it was an art installation and it was a huge projection of buildings collapsing. after being told it was art, we were relieved but there was still the feeling of impending doom. missles were flying and everyone ran back into our house.
