you asked for it. who is nicole richie?

i am getting an obscene amount of pings via google for the lowdown on nicole richie. you're all getting pointed to my blog because of this entry: i see rich people. you want to know who her parents are. you want to see pictures of her flashing. you especially want to know who her mother is as most of you undoubtedly, cannot believe that she is 100% african american. she says she is black and her mother too. i don't understand why people are so curious about her race. others claim she is adopted. the reason you've come here looking for nicole is because you have nothing better to do with your time.

for starters, her name is nicole richie. not nicole r-i-t-c-h-i-e. she is the daughter of everyone's favorite commodore, lionel richie. remember him? his hello music video had him seducing some flashdance wannabe sculptor. she was a very skilled blind artist managing to make a bust that looked exactly like lionel from her imagination. tangent. anyway, her mom is brenda harvey-richie. she is sometimes credited as a song writer, singer, and production assistant. her parents divorced after her mom caught her dad banging another woman. the mistress, diane alexander ended up as lionel's second wife. um, they're divorcing too.

nicole is 22 years old. she is 5'2" and 90 pounds. i do not believe her stats. she's either lying or the camera adds an extra 20 pounds for bad hair extensions. her birthday is september 21, 1981. she is an aspiring singer, dancer and actor. she's better known for being a party girl and paris hilton's sidekick.

last february 27th, nicole got busted for heroin posession. this rich girl is a junkie who is no longer allowed to drive. her license got suspended or revoked and that is why in episode 1 of the simple life, paris has to drive because nicole legally can't. she's due in rehab any day now (wish her luck)!

nicole is also the god-daughter of michael jackson. she swears nothing kinky ever happened when she used to sleep over. michael and her father co-wrote we are the world, the 80s blockbuster charity song. oh yeah, her aim handle is ballerinagirlm. but i doubt she logs on anymore. dudes, don't even try it.

nicole will be making her first talk show appearance on the late late show with craig kilborn on monday, december 8th.

I noticed on that program, that none of Nicole's family were present to support her, on camera. Especially at Paris' backyard gala. liz, i have actually wondered why nicole's parents have been absent from the simple life. here's what i believe: i don't think it's a lack of support for their daughter. nicole's father is a famous singer. her mother is a songwriter/singer. they have both worked hard for professional and personal recognition. they don't need this kind of exposure (and are smart enough to know it's not the kind of exposure they want). the hiltons on the other hand live off the money a grandfather busted ass to accumulate. paris' father is a rich kid himself and her mother is a c-movie ex-soft porn kitty. they have never worked hard for professional and personal recognition. so they don't mind the exposure/attention. in the obscenely rich world, the hilton parents are frowned upon as well. whereas, i think the richies are respected having worked hard for their money/fame.

She is actually adopted. Lionel adopted her from one of his band members when she was a child. Watch the E True Hollywood Story of Rock Star Daughters. That'll straighten you out. I can't believe others think you are the all mighty and know all. Research.

awesome. MD has confirmed that nicole is adopted! when i posted, i researched everything available and reported current findings. the only semi-legit resource stating her adoption status was, the national enquirer. their reputation is disputable. i did not confirm or deny her adoption status but offered the link so readers could make their own decision. agreed that E! is a much more reliable source. the show MD speaks of, E! I am just sitting here woundering why so many people are worried about someone they do not even know, i think it is either jealiousy or just out there to make another famous person look bad, who cares who her parents are, you do not have their money, and by the way that whole page of niki is Fake and so are the pictures you would be amazed at what some people can do on the internet just to make their poor little self look good , but may i say, i feel sorry for you pitiful people

For years and years everyone knew that this Nicole was adopted. Back in the 80's (don't sue me for slander this is just what i used to hear), the word was that Brenda was having some fertility problems that put a strain on their marriage and they adopted Nicole and a year or two later their was the infamous fight when Brenda caught Lionel cheating. I like watching "Simple Life" moreso for Paris, and Nicole is no way 90 pounds, she looks a little chunky.

For all you morons, here are a couple of quick facts: first Nicole WAS adopted . She bagan living with the Richies when she was 3 then adopted by them when she was 9. Her Biological father is Peter Michael Escovedo and he was a bandmate of Lionel Richies at the time who slept with and got pregnant an unknown lady who worked backstage. I have tired all night to find out who she is but no such luck. So, Sheila E. is Nicole's biological auntie!! Kool ehh!!
