I tend to stay away from these meme-things, but here's one I actually like. Why? Because reading where a person travels for fun or work is interesting news to me. I'm following Jason's lead. And it looks like Kim's already hopped on board too. So here you go...where I slept at least one night in 2005. Year-in-cities in alphabetical order (day trips not included):
Arlington, VA
Kyoto, Japan
Las Vegas, NV*
Los Angeles, CA*
New York City, NY*
Paris, France
San Francisco, CA
Santa Monica, CA*
Tokyo, Japan
Vancouver, Canada
*multiple visits on separate occasions
Looking back, it doesn't seem like much. Stepping foot in four countries and three continents ain't bad. It's definitely not my top year of travel, but not my least traveled either. However, it should be noted that I spent more days on hols and work travel in 2005 than usual, thanks to freelancing.
I'm kind of stoked to see where 2006 takes me. I realized that on my list, the only new city I visited last year was Kyoto, Japan. I gotta remedy that!
