National Psyche is a group exhibition and interdisciplinary project series exploring current feminine dimensions of contemporary art, while highlighting creative leadership within the context of post 9/11 America. This project includes a colorful range of innovative artistic programming and educational presentations featuring visual artists, educators and progressive leaders from within and outside the Bay Area. The LAB presents this centerpiece of the multi-faceted National Psyche project, featuring a selection of new works from thirteen national and international contemporary artists. Din Din Party: Exploring the Judy Chicago Legacy will also be on view--San Francisco-based artist Matt Gerring presents this piece extending dialogue and concepts sparked by Judy Chicago's 1979 signature installation. Join the party! The public is invited to contribute to its design. Artists respond to various evils associated with the Pandora Myth in Pandora Box: A DVD Collection, co-curated by Ellen Lake and Heike Liss.
